Do you know what's LGBT
LGBT stands for - Lesbians, gays. bisexual and transgenders.
I found articles related to LGBTs, a term coined by national officials, for Homosexuals (dont know why transgenders included then) while reading news.
Nirupama Dixit, head of the psychology department at Kanpur’s SN Sen College, says, “Homosexuality is a sexual perversion... a disease. People turn gay and lesbian because they lack self confidence.” (quoted from an article in TOI. Check here)
I personally agree with her. But as the thing for human rights, personal choice etc. comes and till this issue is being used for personal purposes rather than for society, I think its not healthy to ban or making these things illegal. Until you are doing whatever you like in private, no one has any right to say anything but its offending seeing a man kissing a man in public. For me at-least, it is.
Anyway, this article is about that are Gays same as MSM (men having sex with men). Found this interesting as govt. uses this term while dealing with things like AIDS etc.
Even in PSM, my third year m.b.b.s. subject, I had read MSM stats in many places.

Addicted to my PSP
I am totally addicted to my psp now. Especially the amazing game God of War. I went to a Diwali meet of our colony yesterday (sunday). Around 200- 300 people were there, Dance competition, housiey, old ladies indulged in their gossips, boys eying girls etc. going on. And there i was sitting behind everyone playing GoW. Just wished that had taken my headphones with me :).
Also I am watching Indian short films now a days on youtube as mentioned in my earlier post. Came across a new one called "30 days" by some american indian guy (think so as he has a typical desi american accent). Very good movie. I am thinking of making a new short movie, this time a little light fun comic type. Don't know will be able to do so along with my m.b.b.s.
I also came to know today, that i am the only guy in my colony (Vallbh Nagar being a big one here in Kota) who is doing m.b.b.s. This news brought a nice feeling with it. N one else in Doctory.... those lucky bastards :D
Also increased my vocabulary with a weird term today - Saifeena. Thats combines for Saif and Kareena. I hope this does not turns like Shaeena too ;)
A good news for today (as these are hard to find nowadays)
Ghandhi ji's Grandson Mr. Gopalkrishna Gandhi rejected the 100 cr INR project to be spent on Ghandhiji's statue in the memory of Dandi March. In the era of people Erecting there own statues, this provides some relief. Read the news here .
I really wish to forward this link to Shri Mayawati ji. Wonder if she has an email account, or even a computer.
And plz i am not insulting any Dalit here, ma'am.

new tech blog
hey
Just came across this nice blog
Giving info about mobile schemes, tech tips, info about banking etc.
And all this related to India. Its worth taking a look.
After reading some posts there, I am thinking of getting a tata indicom connection :)
Nidhi on Orkut !!!
I was surprised to see nidhi today on orkut. Called her up to enquire is she did it or some one was posing as her. Surprisingly, she chose to come online, a good start.
Today heared in news that a overhead pipeline, i think for water supply, fell on engine of a local train in mumbai. the driver was trapped for hours. heres the report . The thing that I find ajeeb is that this kind of mishaps could happen in countries disorganized like India. Yet another thing of the millions to feel sad for our country.
The thing is, that after being born in India, its quite hard to settle abroad, with all the racism, hatred, insecurities of the locals losing jobs to us. And most annoying thing is that it is even harder to live in our own country, owing to so much corruption, ignorance, racism etc.
Still have chosen to stay in India and try to serve the country, Maybe.
The fact is India is the most racist country in the world. Filled with "Regional racism". every state for themselves. Union of India should be changed to United States of India.
Yet, the most amazing thing is, in spite of all the shitti-things, our country is still growing (not just population wise). maybe thats a good thing a quality of Indians to squeeze through had situations.
Actually i am feeling emotional today. I think i need a smoke !!
